The Mammography Assistant App provides a structured approach to breast cancer assessment and mammogram reporting, facilitating a more efficient workflow for radiologists. It is grounded in the BI-RADS Atlas 5th edition by the American College of Radiology, integrating extensive research on breast cancer classification.

BI-RADS Mode:

 <li>Select relevant descriptors and sub-types for mammograms. The comprehensive algorithm yields a final BI-RADS category upon submission.</li>
 <li>Access sample images and detailed descriptions of each descriptor for enhanced understanding.</li>
 <li>Receive estimates of cancer likelihood along with recommended management strategies for each outcome.</li>
</ul>

Learning Mode:
<ul>
 <li>Engage with an intuitive interface to learn about different BI-RADS categories. The app provides detailed descriptions, malignancy likelihood, management options, and context-specific scenarios for each category.</li>
 <li>Explore sample cases associated with each category to reinforce learning.</li>
 <li>Enhance knowledge retention through quizzes that utilize an extensive case bank.</li>
</ul>

This app serves as a literature-based tool designed to assist radiologists in improving diagnostic accuracy and reporting efficacy in mammography. It synthesizes the findings of the BI-RADS Atlas alongside various peer-reviewed studies, striving to present a robust and comprehensive diagnostic algorithm.

The content adheres strictly to the definitions, terms, measurements, and categories delineated in the ACR BI-RADS 5th edition. While it includes a range of mammogram descriptor combinations leading to final classifications, these are not solely confined to those outlined in the Atlas. A thorough review of relevant scholarly articles participates in enhancing the diagnostic framework offered by the app.
